Full Job Description Manager of Facilities Management Shift:
AM Location:
Ovation Communities — Jewish Home & Care Center Ovation Communities is seeking a Manager of Facilities Management who is responsible for helping manage the organization's buildings, grounds and equipment. This individual will also set daily tasks, ensure projects are moving forward, and work with outside contractors doing work in the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Creates and plans long range goals for the department, the buildings and building operating equipment as needed and as requested by CEO/DEM/Administrators. Involved in the hiring process. (Develops and maintains a quality work team by assisting with staff recruitment and selection for the Department) Discipline, counsel and evaluate staff as required, if needed according to Company policy and procedures. Hold regular meetings and in-services to inform and/or teach staff of information and procedures beneficial to both staff and facility. Maintain records as required by company policies and procedures. Understanding and operation of various building systems such as Fire Alarm, HVAC, Telephone, Security etc., as well as maintaining of same systems and recommendations of upgrades etc.

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent - Required Facilities Building Maintenance Certification -
Preferred Work Experience:
Minimum 5 years supervisory experience with ability to supervise and direct others.
Licenses & Certifications:
Valid Wisconsin driver's license
