Job Description

About us: Alexandra Rentals has a growing presence in the rental property business in Morgantown, WV. We pride ourselves in offering elevated living when it comes to rentals in Morgantown. We have expanded our business to include apartments, townhouses, student rentals, mobile homes, houses, storage units and a granite company, kitchen cabinets, flooring and appliances. Essentially, we have created an environment where everything is under one roof, a One-Stop-Shop, if you will. We are a positive, closeknit team and are looking for someone with that same team spirit & enthusiasm.
Duties:
  • Assist the General/Property Manager in day-to-day operations of the properties
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with tenants
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain and organize files related to property management
  • Assist with property maintenance tasks as needed, being the point of contact with tenants to streamline maintenance requests
  • Support the Property Manager in managing contracts with vendors and service providers
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance requests
  • Assist in facilities management, including coordinating repairs and maintenance
  • Assist with renting and overseeing storage unit rentals
Qualifications:
  • Driver's license and reliable car required
  • Common Sense
  • Problem-solving skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in property management is a plus
  • Proven experience in customer relationship management or a similar role
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Proficient in data entry, computer skills and social media marketing a plus
  • Knowledge of property maintenance procedures and best practices
  • Ability to pivot
