Job Description:
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Material Handler / MACHINE OPERATOR- Post-Production at our International Distribution Center in Tuscumbia, AL. In this position, you will be part of the team responsible for managing the flow of materials and supplies within our distribution facility.Responsibilities:
- Move, store post-production products, materials, and supplies.
- Set up and operate machinery according to production specifications and safety standards.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using Whitesell's ERP platform.
- Operate optical sorters and hand sort products if needed.
- Maintain accurate production records and report any issues to supervisors.
- Collaborate with team members and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in forklift operation and warehouse operations required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Commitment to excellence in safety practices.
- Excellent attendance record required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
