Job Description

Job Summary The Clamp Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating a propane-powered clamp forklift to move, load, unload, stack, and transport materials throughout the warehouse or production facility. The operator must follow all safety procedures, maintain productivity standards, and ensure materials are handled without damage. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate a propane-powered clamp forklift in a safe and efficient manner. Transport raw materials, finished goods, and inventory throughout the facility. Load and unload trailers, containers, and storage areas. Use clamp attachments to handle products without pallets while preventing product damage. Stack, organize, and store materials in designated locations. Perform pre-shift inspections and complete daily equipment checklists. Report equipment malfunctions, maintenance needs, or safety concerns to management. Maintain accurate inventory movement and material tracking records. Assist with general warehouse duties as needed. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations. Keep work areas clean and organized. Qualifications Previous experience operating a propane clamp forklift required. Valid forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification. Ability to safely operate material handling equipment in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety. Basic math and inventory tracking skills. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach throughout the shift. Frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds. Ability to sit for extended periods while operating equipment. Ability to work in warehouse environments with varying temperatures. Ability to maintain visual awareness and safely navigate warehouse traffic.
Pay:
$20.00 per hour
