Full-time, regular About Astral Toyond Astral Toyond Group (ATG) is a cross-border bioscience ingredient supply chain platform serving the global animal nutrition, food, and nutraceutical industries. Our Chino, CA facility is the operational hub for ATI's North America distribution network. We move palletized and drummed ingredients (vitamins, amino acids, sweeteners, specialty actives) inbound from overseas suppliers and outbound to customers across the United States and Canada. Position Summary We are hiring a hands-on Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator to join our Chino, CA distribution team. You will safely operate powered industrial equipment, move and stage product, support receiving and shipping activities, and help keep the warehouse clean, organized, and audit-ready. This is an on-the-floor role. If you take pride in working safely, accurately, and as part of a small team, we want to hear from you. Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesMaterial Handling (Primary)
  • Operate sit-down forklift, reach truck, and electric pallet jack safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload trucks and ocean containers (devanning).
  • Move pallets, drums, and super-sacks to designated storage locations following
FEFO / FIFO
rules.
  • Stage outbound orders for pickup; verify product, lot number, and quantity against shipping documents. Receiving & Shipping
  • Receive inbound shipments: check carrier paperwork, count pallets, inspect for damage, and report discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager.
  • Pick, pack, and stage customer orders accurately based on pick sheets or WMS instructions.
  • Apply pallet labels, BOLs, and shipping documents; assist with truck loading and securing freight. Inventory & Accuracy
  • Participate in daily / weekly cycle counts and the annual physical inventory.
  • Record all material movements in the warehouse system (handheld scanner or workstation).
  • Maintain lot / batch traceability — never co-mingle lots or skip scans. Safety & Housekeeping
  • Wear required PPE (safety shoes, hi-vis vest, gloves, eye protection) at all times on the floor.
  • Conduct daily pre-shift forklift inspections; report any equipment defects immediately.
  • Keep aisles, dock doors, and staging areas clean and clear of obstructions.
  • Follow all OSHA / Cal-OSHA, GMP, and company safety SOPs. Team Support
  • Support the Warehouse Manager with any reasonable tasks assigned, including light janitorial, recycling, and special projects.
  • Communicate professionally with carrier drivers, delivery personnel, and team members. Required Qualifications
  • 1+ year of warehouse or distribution-center experience.
  • Valid forklift operator certification (sit-down counterbalance required; reach truck a plus). Candidates without current certification may be considered if willing to complete certification within the first 30 days (must be certified prior to operating any equipment) .
  • Ability to read, count, and accurately record numbers, lot codes, and SKU labels in English.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience handling food-grade, feed-grade, nutraceutical, or pharmaceutical ingredients.
  • Experience with container devanning (ocean freight).
  • Familiarity with handheld scanners and WMS systems (NetSuite, SAP, Odoo, Fishbowl, or equivalent).
  • Bilingual English / Spanish or English / Mandarin Chinese.
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Physical Requirements In accordance with ADA, the following physical activities are essential to performing this role:
  • Stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach throughout an 8-hour shift.
  • Frequently lift up to 50 lbs unassisted , and up to 75 lbs with assistance or mechanical aid, on a regular basis.
  • Push and pull pallet jacks; operate forklift controls including foot pedals, steering, and lift levers.
  • Climb on/off equipment and occasionally work at elevated heights (mezzanine, top racks via order picker).
  • Vision sufficient to read labels, lot numbers, and operate powered equipment safely.
  • Hearing sufficient to respond to forklift horns, alarms, and verbal warnings on the warehouse floor.

Work Environment Standard warehouse environment with seasonal temperature variation (not climate-controlled). Some exposure to dust, ingredient odors, and equipment noise. Occasional weekend or overtime hours may be required during peak shipping cycles or container backlog. PPE is provided and required.
Schedule Shift:
Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (one unpaid 30-minute meal break, two paid 10-minute rest breaks). Occasional overtime and Saturday hours during peak periods, paid at applicable overtime rates.
Compensation & Benefits Pay :
$20.00 - $26.00 per hour, depending on experience and certifications.
