Medical, Dental, AD&D, PSL Stacker or Production Associate position involves working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, specifically in potato processing, to ensure finished goods are accurately packed, inspected, and stacked according to company, quality, and food safety standards. Key Responsibilities
Packing & Stacking:
Perform assigned packing tasks, which include inspecting boxes, ensuring proper packaging, and arranging products/cartons for storage or shipment.
Quality Control:
Inspect products and packaging for quality, including correct date coding, bag seals, and weight, minimizing waste.
Production Flow:
Monitor overflow product to maximize recovery and communicate with team members/other departments to ensure a smooth production flow.
Safety & Sanitation:
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), SQF, and HACCP standards.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of production, packaging, and quality checks.
Support & Training:
Provide coverage for other departments as needed and assist in training new team members. Qualifications
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or GED preferred;prior experience in food manufacturing or packaging is often preferred.
Skills:
Strong attention to detail, ability to read/write/communicate in English, and basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Reliability:
Strong team-based approach, ability to follow instructions, and reliability in attending designated shifts. Physical Demands & Working Conditions
Lifting:
Frequently required to bend, reach, stoop, push, and pull;occasionally required to lift/carry up to 40-50 pounds.
Standing:
Ability to stand for extended periods, sometimes up to 12 hours.
