Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Forklift Driver , where your skills will drive efficiency and safety across our distribution operations. In this energetic role, you'll be essential in managing materials,shipping and receiving.
Your expertise will ensure smooth warehouse distribution processes while maintaining a safe environment aligned with OSHA standards. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your warehouse management skills and contribute to a fast-paced logistics environment. Responsibilities Safely operate various heavy equipment including forklifts efficiently. Manage materials handling tasks such as inventory organization, and stacking using appropriate equipment. Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation. Conduct routine equipment repairs or report maintenance needs promptly to ensure safe operation of all machinery. Support warehouse distribution operations by organizing stock in designated areas and ensuring proper storage practices. Follow OSHA safety guidelines diligently during all tasks to promote a secure working environment for yourself and colleagues. Experience Proven experience operating forklift equipment such as lift trucks, reach trucks, Hi-Lo's, clamp trucks, or pallet jacks within a warehouse setting. Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes including shipping & receiving. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and measurements. Experience with Lumber Distributions is plus. Must be bilingual.
