Packing Additional Skills & Qualifications Responsibilities:
  • Maintain an organized warehouse, stockroom and work area layout to meet the changing needs of the business. Continually look to improve cleanliness, organization and efficiency. Lead and participate in process improvements activities, including the implementation of inventory system enhancements, 5S processes, and storage management systems for the warehouse
  • Direct the workflow and personnel in Receiving, Finished Goods Warehouse, Shipping, and Returns departments to complete customer orders while ensuring that company goals and quality metrics are met.
  • Oversee warehouse space to ensure compliance with safety initiatives and housekeeping standards.
  • Works with Warehouse Manager to identify training opportunities for warehouse team.
  • Conduct a large portion of hands-on work including operation of forklifts, staging orders and daily creation of shipping documents. Audit outbound shipments to ensure customer shipping requirements are met. Perform staged order quality checks to guarantee order fulfillment accuracy especially to critical customers.
  • Participate in documentation of warehouse processes. Recommend changes as needed, and implement as directed. Ensure all processes are followed and documentation current for compliance with regulatory and company standards. Work with management and Plant personnel on audits and inspections.
  • Responsible for the accurate and timely inventorying of all products, supplies, and customer returns. Collaborate with all levels of company personnel (e.g., Production Coordinator, Purchasing Manager, Finance, etc.) to ensure 100% accuracy of inventory of all products in the warehouse.
  • Maintain dock security and ensure policies and procedures are adhered to and company assets are secured.
  • Maintain a variety of records related to the above duties.
  • Offload and ensure accurate inventory of green coffee as needed.
  • Cross-functional back-up for Warehouse Manager and Production Planner.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00
  • $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
