Job Description

Pridestaff is currently seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk/ForkliftOperator for a metal manufacturing company located in Ontario, CA. This is a Direct Hire Opportunity. Please see job requirements below to be considered.
Pay Rate:
$19 - $20
Shift:
Monday - Friday, 6am to 2:30pm Roles and responsibilities: Works with production control and other departments to coordinate daily shipments. Obtains quotes for domestic and international shipments for sales department. Sets up shipping coordination and forwarders as needed for customers' orders. Responsible for using and inputting into Shipping Computer System (STARSHIP). Uses a forklift and/or other equipment to load and unload trucks in a safe and efficient manner. Responsible for physically preparing shipment orders, re-packaging, labeling, etc. Verify inbound shipments to ensure total quality and accuracy. Receives and puts away raw material and finished goods into rack locations. Responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse area. Responsible for maintaining adequate supply of shipping and receiving supplies. Assists in supporting warehouse organization, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency. Supports a culture of safety, urgency, accountability, and teamwork.
Job Requirements:
High School diploma Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in shipping/receiving process Knowledge of working with ERP system such as SAGE Experience operating a Sit-Down Forklift and have a valid OSHA Forklift certification Must work well in team environment Must have good communication skills Must possess a high level of accuracy International Shipping experience preferred Hazardous Material handling experience preferred Positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Must be able to lift up to 50lbs continously throughout the shift Must be able to bend,stoop, stand, walk, and lift through an 8 hour shift.
