•Shifts M-Sat 4pm-4 am with rotating Sundays (training will be done during our day shift) This is a seasonal position ending around the 2nd-3rd week of November Who we are and what we are looking for: We are looking for a forklift driver to join our team. Responsibilities:

Forklift Operation:

Responsible for operation of electric forklift

Shipping and Receiving:

Unload and load trailers, verify proper stacking, and handling according to company specifications

Inventory Control:

Ensure all inbound counts match manifest and inspect for damages. Report shortages and overages to management. Assist in cycle counts and physical inventories.

Quality:

Responsible for reporting all quality expectations to management consistent with Company policy

Order Picking:

Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards

General Duties:

Maintain the facilities, equipment and materials at all times. Perform daily inspections, identify and report any issues, initiate, recommend, or suggest solutions through appropriate channels.

Safety:

Operate all equipment in adherence to company policy, safety training, and operational standards. Participate in Safety and Educational Training. Follow all security procedures. Perform other related duties as required

Strong work ethic Demonstrate an eagerness to learn. Willing to train the right candidate. Critical thinking skills Problem Solving Experience working with weight re-arrangements specific to trucking Must have demonstrated experience with produce Must be 18 years or older

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described below are representative of those required of an individual performing the essential duties of this position.. Bend and lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis Lift up to 70lbs with assistance on an occasional basis Stand and walk for extended periods of time Use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls Be able to see, speak and hear for safety and productivity Use scanners, tablets, radio, phones, and other warehouse machinery Ability to lift overhead Work in an atmosphere range of + 50 to - 30 degrees F with a moderate noise level Must be able to work in a cold environment for extended periods with protective equipment (34 degrees) Other requirements: Ability to work overtime with little or no notice; non-negotiable! Must have a valid state motor vehicle operator's license Must be attentive to surrounding including people, structures, and product Must demonstrate safe work habits, including safely operating and maintaining equipment Must be able to pass a forklift driving training program and demonstrate safe operation of forklift in an on-site test Good communication and collaboration are a must. Good math and reading skills. Must be able to speak, read and write English. Understand and follow verbal instruction, written instruction and company policies Must be a self-starter that can work independently and coordinate with others Work in a fast paced environment with the ability to manage stress and productivity guidelines Always maintain a professional manner in appearance and communications

Pay:

$18.50 - $22.50 per hour
