Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bandsaw / Forklift Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating bandsaws and forklifts to efficiently handle materials, ensure accurate cutting, and facilitate smooth warehouse operations. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining high-quality production standards, optimizing workflow, and supporting the overall manufacturing process. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where safety, precision, and teamwork are paramount. Responsibilities Operate bandsaw machines with precision to cut various materials according to detailed specifications and blueprints Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials within the manufacturing facility and warehouse Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly Utilize mechanical knowledge and hand tools for material handling, fabrication, and assembly line support Conduct routine inspections of machinery such as press brake machines, CNC programming tools, stamping presses, and CAM programming equipment to ensure optimal performance Perform quality control checks using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances in accordance with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols related to forklift operation, machining equipment, and fabrication processes Qualifications •Must be Bilingual English/Spanish•Proven experience operating bandsaws, forklifts, and other manufacturing machinery in a factory or production setting Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of machining processes including CNC programming, CNC machines, stamping presses, and fabrication techniques Experience with tooling setup, welding, assembly line support, packaging operations, and materials handling is advantageous Proficiency with precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers for quality assurance purposes Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations in manufacturing tasks Valid forklift certification or licensing; prior warehouse or factory experience highly desirable Good communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions precisely Join our team if you're passionate about manufacturing excellence!
