In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to deliver tires and related products efficiently across designated routes. Your role is vital in ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining excellent customer service, and supporting our warehouse operations through loading and unloading shipments. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver products along assigned routes Load and unload tires and related inventory using forklifts or pallet jacks when necessary Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries by representing the company professionally Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries and pickups, including route logs and delivery receipts Conduct routine vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards and report any maintenance needs Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving inventory and organizing stock as needed Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during route driving Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with route driving knowledge Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients Experience operating box trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual transmission vehicles Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks related to moving inventory Knowledge of safety procedures related to driving, loading/unloading cargo, and warehouse operations Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; Commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred but not required Familiarity with route planning, load & unload processes, and warehouse equipment such as forklifts Join us at East Bay Tire Co., where your drive makes a difference!
