San Leandro, Ca Job Summary:
Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, load, unload, and organize hardwood materials within the warehouse and yard. Support shipping, receiving, inventory control, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate sit-down forklift to transport lumber and hardwood products Load and unload trucks, containers, and customer orders Organize materials in warehouse and storage areas Perform shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks Inspect forklift equipment daily and report maintenance issues Follow OSHA and company safety procedures Assist with general warehouse and yard duties as needed
Qualifications:
Previous forklift driving experience required Experience in warehouse or lumber/material handling preferred Ability to lift heavy materials and work in fast-paced environment Strong attention to safety and detail Team player with reliable attendance
