[Operations Manager / Supervisor] Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Technician to support daily warehouse operations. This role is responsible for the accurate movement of materials, maintaining inventory integrity, and ensuring all shipments are processed efficiently and on time. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and takes pride in doing things right the first time. Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders Accurately pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for shipment Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely and efficiently Load and unload trucks while ensuring proper handling of materials Maintain organized inventory and storage areas (FIFO as applicable) Enter inventory transactions and track movement in internal systems (ERP/WMS) Prepare shipping documentation, labels, and packing slips Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment Support cycle counts and physical inventory audits Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment Qualifications 2+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations Forklift certification required (or ability to obtain immediately) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods Basic computer skills (data entry, email, inventory systems) Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Preferred Qualifications Experience with international shipping , including customs documentation, commercial invoices, and harmonized codes Familiarity with major carriers (UPS, FedEx, freight/LTL) Experience in manufacturing, biotech, or regulated environments What Success Looks Like Orders are shipped accurately and on time with minimal errors Inventory is maintained with a high level of accuracy Work areas are organized, safe, and audit-ready Communication is clear, proactive, and solutions-focused Additional Information This is not an entry-level role. We are seeking a candidate with proven, hands-on experience who can confidently own shipping and receiving operations, ensure accuracy, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
