Warehouse Worker Job Description We are seeking a dedicated warehouse worker to provide medium industrial services. This role involves tasks such as carton picking, shrink-wrapping pallets, and moving palletized material using Material Handling Equipment (MHE). MHE may include manual or electric pallet jacks. This position typically requires familiarity with a warehouse or distribution environment, the ability to operate a pallet jack, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and good reading, writing, and communication skills. Responsibilities Perform carton picking, which involves frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting, twisting, pushing, and pulling. Shrink-wrap pallets and ensure secure packaging. Move palletized materials using manual or electric pallet jacks. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow safety protocols and procedures. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. Essential Skills Proficiency in operating manual and electric pallet jacks. Experience in a warehouse or distribution environment. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Good reading, writing, and communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or GED strongly preferred. Why Work Here? Work Environment The position is for the 3rd shift, with a schedule from Sunday to Thursday, starting at 7:30 pm and ending at 4:00 am. The work environment is typical of a warehouse, requiring the use of Material Handling Equipment and adherence to safety standards. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Walnut, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
