Job Description:
Come create your career with Volt! Volt is immediately hiring a Forklift Operator and Production Assembler in Englewood, CO. As a Forklift Operator you will: Operate electric and propane forklifts (sit down and stand up) safely and efficiently Transport, stack, and move materials throughout the facility Verify load weights and ensure safe lifting based on equipment capacity Use forklift controls, attachments, and adjust operations as needed Maintain awareness of surroundings and ensure safe travel paths Follow OSHA and company safety standards, including proper PPE use Conduct daily inspections and report mechanical or safety issues Maintain accurate documentation and keep equipment and work areas clean As a Production Assembler you will: Assemble products using corrugated paper and plastic composite materials per build instructions Break down and prepare raw materials, including separating perforated components Read and interpret technical documents and work orders for accurate assembly Build and organize components to meet product specifications and quality standards Use hand tools such as box cutters and pneumatic staple guns safely and effectively Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Report production issues or equipment malfunctions to supervisors Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals Both are full-time, Temp-to-hire opportunities. Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:00pm Candidates must meet the following requirements: High School Diploma or GED preferred Forklift certification or ability to obtain upon hire Experience operating electric and propane forklifts preferred Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and procedures Ability to read and understand equipment data plates Ability to lift up to 50lbs Strong attention to safety and detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Pay for this position is $19.29/hr
