Forklift Operator

Westaff is hiring for Forklift Operator and General Labor in Eastford, CT!

Shift:

Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00

Pay Rate:

$17 - $20 an hour

Responsibilities:

Operate forklifts safely to move, load, and unload pallets and materials. Hand-sort pallets, boxes, bins, and other materials as needed. Stack, secure, and transport materials throughout the facility. Follow instructions for staging, sorting, and quality checks. Assist with loading/unloading trailers and moving materials by hand. Inspect products and materials to ensure they meet quality standards. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Support production and warehouse teams with additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

Ability to read and follow instructions and maintain records. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to repetitively lift 50 lbs and stand, bend, walk, and pivot for full shifts. Good math, reading, and communication skills. Forklift certification preferred but not required. Ability to work in varying temperatures and warehouse conditions. PPE required (steel toe boots).
