Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic 1st Shift Warehouse Forklift Operator & Inventory Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing warehouse operations, operating heavy equipment safely, and maintaining accurate inventory records. Your expertise will help ensure smooth distribution processes and uphold our commitment to safety standards in production. Duties Safely operate various warehouse equipment including reach trucks, forklifts (lift truck), Hi-Lo, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials. Perform manual handling and heavy lifting tasks in accordance with OSHA safety standards. Manage inventory through warehouse management systems (WMS), conducting regular cycle counts and ensuring accurate stock levels. Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments and preparing items for dispatch. Support order picking processes using pick techniques to fulfill customer orders efficiently. Conduct routine equipment repairs or notify maintenance for mechanical issues with forklifts or other heavy equipment. Follow all safety protocols related to warehouse distribution, materials handling, and heavy equipment operation to maintain a safe work environment. Qualifications Proven experience operating reach trucks, forklifts (including lift trucks and Hi-Lo), clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures. Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes, shipping & receiving protocols, and order picking techniques. Mechanical aptitude with basic math skills for inventory counts and measurements. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and adhere to OSHA safety standards in production environments. Prior warehouse experience with a focus on materials handling and manual handling tasks. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team under safety guidelines.
