Forklift Operator

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Forklift Operator and become a vital part of our fast-paced warehouse environment! In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently operating various types of heavy equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, Hi-Lo, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks, to move materials safely and accurately. Your expertise in warehouse management systems and materials handling will ensure smooth shipping, receiving, and order picking processes. Duties Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and other heavy equipment to load and unload shipments. Perform order picking using various equipment such as pickers and pallet jacks to fulfill customer orders accurately. Assist in warehouse management tasks including inventory control, stock replenishment, and warehouse organization. Conduct routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to ensure safety and optimal performance. Support shipping and receiving operations by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to OSHA safety standards. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize materials handling processes and improve overall efficiency. Skills Proven experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and pallet jacks in a warehouse setting. Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and order processing. Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment repair and troubleshooting. Familiarity with warehouse distribution procedures including load & unload operations. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper ergonomic practices. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling. Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and documentation accuracy. Pay:
