Forklift Operator/Warehouse Worker

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Forklift Operator/Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing warehouse operations, operating heavy equipment safely, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment. Duties Safely operate various types of heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse Perform order picking using electric order pickers and other equipment to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently Manage shipping and receiving processes by verifying inbound and outbound shipments, inspecting goods for quality, and documenting all transactions in the warehouse management system (WMS) Conduct routine equipment repairs and maintenance checks on forklifts and other machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance with OSHA standards Assist with warehouse management tasks such as inventory control, stock rotation, cycle counting, and organizing storage areas for maximum efficiency Support warehouse distribution activities by coordinating materials handling tasks and ensuring proper placement of products for easy access during order picking Operate clamp trucks, reach trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and other heavy equipment with mechanical knowledge to handle various materials safely while adhering to safety protocols Qualifications Proven experience operating forklifts (including reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo) and other heavy equipment in a warehouse setting Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and order processing Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to forklift operation and materials handling Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic equipment repairs and troubleshoot mechanical issues Excellent attention to detail for accurate order picking and shipping/receiving documentation Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and calculations during order processing Previous experience in warehouse distribution or logistics environment preferred Ability to lift heavy loads regularly and perform physically demanding tasks safely Strong communication skills for teamwork coordination and safety compliance Join us in a role that keeps our supply chain moving smoothly!
