Job Description

Candidate Screening Questions Describe your fulfillment operations experience, specifically inventory counting, receiving, and packing. Include years of experience and the companies where you performed this work. Do you have experience deriving inventory requirements from Bills of Material (BOMs)? Please describe. Do you have experience receiving or shipping inventory? Describe any receiving, put-away, picking/kitting, or shipping experience. Are you willing to operate a forklift? Have you been forklift certified in the past? Are you able to lift 50 lbs? Key Responsibilities Identify, monitor, and escalate roadblocks that could cause defects downstream. Support root cause analysis and apply strong problem-solving skills to drive continuous improvement. Safely operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) and heavy equipment, including electronic pallet jacks (EPJs), forklifts, reach trucks, and turret trucks. Demonstrate knowledge of operational mechanics, safety procedures, and basic maintenance practices while moving heavy parts and materials throughout the facility. Receive and unload shipments delivered by carriers. Visually inspect incoming packages according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) to determine acceptability. Perform quality control checks by reviewing part number requirements and processing items in accordance with SOPs. Document receipts and work orders by systematically uploading, storing, and closing records in inventory management systems following SOPs. Perform accurate data entry in inventory management tools, inputting information from physical deliveries and navigating modules to retrieve data needed for fulfillment tasks. Identify appropriate packaging for parts and properly wrap, package, and store items at any stage of the fulfillment or manufacturing workflow. Sort, stage, and securely move packages, boxes, crates, and other containers throughout the workflow while ensuring proper identification to prevent loss or misplacement. Label and mark all parts with required identifiers according to SOPs to enable tracking and analysis through the workflow. Assign storage locations for parts (individual or bulk) using sound judgment and SOP guidelines. Conduct storage audits in accordance with SOPs. Required Qualifications 2+ years of Fulfillment Center Operations experience, including receiving and inventory functions in a relevant industry. Strong commitment to safety, including strict adherence to established safety protocols, proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), following safe operating procedures, and participation in regular safety training. Ability to lift 50 lbs. World-class quality mindset with exceptional attention to detail and dedication. Strong communication skills in a highly technical environment. Solid mathematical and analytical skills, with the ability to define problems, collect relevant data, establish facts, and draw reasonable conclusions. Ability to derive inventory requirements from Bills of Material (BOMs). Ability to earn trust, maintain positive professional relationships, and contribute to an inclusive team culture. Previous forklift certification and experience operating powered industrial trucks. Preferred Qualifications Warehouse, receiving, or inventory experience in the aerospace or automotive industry.
