Job Description
Now Hiring Warehouse Assistant / Forklift Operator Roles and Responsibilities Forklift operation while following Gulf Ice Systems safety policy Assists in managing shipment / receipt of all products, materials, and supplies Assist in identifying damages, reporting shortages, etc. Pulling, packing / palletizing, and loading / unloading of orders Collaborates and communicates with others involved in shipment and receipts of products Sort, organize and store inventory in the proper location Perform general warehouse housekeeping duties Responsible for following all warehouse operating procedures Required Education, Skills, and Knowledge High School / GED Forklift certification is preferred Attention to detail Good written and verbal communication skills Time management Receiving, stocking, and stacking with forklift and by hand Working Conditions Ability to lift 50 pounds and meet other physical requirements such as lifting, bending, stooping, and squatting Benefits Include Hourly rate with overtime available Bonus potential Medical, dental and vision insurance Paid vacation days Retirement plan with discretionary profit-sharing match Basic and voluntary life insurance Short and long-term disability insurance Gulf Ice Systems is an equal opportunity employer and gives consideration for employment to qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
