Key Responsibilities Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load and unload trucks Perform daily shipping and receiving tasks with accuracy and efficiency Pick, pack, label, and verify orders to ensure they match customer requirements Receive incoming materials, process them in the system, and stock them in designated locations Maintain accurate documentation for inventory, shipping, and receiving activities Assist with inventory control and report discrepancies Build and maintain professional relationships with vendors through accurate receiving practices Work independently while meeting productivity and quality expectations Support general warehouse operations including material handling and order fulfillment Follow all safety procedures and equipment guidelines Assist team members with additional tasks as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Previous warehouse experience required Experience with shipping and receiving processes Forklift certification or proven experience operating forklifts (sit-down and/or stand-up) Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and accuracy Willingness to assist with a variety of warehouse tasks Ability to work flexible hours as needed Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred Additional Preferred Skills Experience in material handling, order picking, and packing Familiarity with inventory control and stock management Comfort using warehouse equipment and systems Interest in learning the fire sprinkler industry and building a long-term career Why Join Us Employee-owned company with an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) Competitive pay Comprehensive medical benefits with low employee cost 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off after 90 days Opportunity for long-term career growth Small, team-oriented environment where your contributions make an impact Work Environment & Schedule Small warehouse setting with fewer than 10 total staff members Fast-paced, hands-on role requiring physical warehouse work Non-climate-controlled environment Regular use of forklifts and material handling equipment

Schedule:

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pompano Beach, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
