Description:
About the Role We are looking for a dependable Shipper Receiver to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for safely loading and unloading glass, racks, and other manufacturing materials while helping ensure each truck is loaded accurately and on time. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced production environment. The right candidate will be safety-minded, reliable, comfortable with physical work, and able to work well with a team. Key Responsibilities Safely load and unload trucks in a timely and accurate manner Properly scan material in and out of shipping area Verify that the correct product is loaded for the correct truck, route, and delivery Inspect glass and materials for quality before loading Properly strap racks and secure loads for transportation Operate a forklift safely and follow all equipment procedures Maintain a clean and organized work area Assist with other manufacturing and warehouse duties as needed Follow all company safety policies and use required personal protective equipment
Requirements:
Prior forklift experience required Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, manufacturing, or material handling experience preferred Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. as needed Ability to bend, kneel, reach, stand, push, pull, and lift throughout the shift Ability to read, write, measure product, and identify labels accurately Basic math and measuring skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Ability to use good judgment and solve routine production or loading issues Dependable attendance and a positive, team-focused attitude Work Environment Work is performed both indoors and outdoors Exposure to varying temperatures depending on weather and production conditions Work around glass, sharp materials, moving equipment, and manufacturing machinery Personal Protective Equipment is required Quality Enclosures is an Equal Opportunity Employer, participates in E-Verify, and maintains a Drug-Free Workplace.
