In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently operating reach trucks and other heavy equipment to manage materials handling, order picking, and inventory movement within a fast-paced distribution environment. Your expertise will ensure safe, accurate, and timely loading and unloading of goods, supporting overall warehouse operations and maintaining high standards of safety and productivity. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills, warehouse management experience, and a commitment to operational excellence. Monday- Friday 7:30am-4/4:30pm 17.00-19.00 (based on experience) non-climate controlled environment Duties Safely operate reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse Assist with order picking using various equipment, including pickers and forklift systems Support warehouse management system (WMS) data entry for inventory tracking and order processing Participate in shipping and receiving activities by accurately handling materials and verifying shipments Perform heavy lifting tasks up to 75lbs adhering to OSHA safety standards to maintain a safe working environment Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to coordinate distribution activities and optimize space utilization Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, repairs, and inventory movements Ensure compliance with safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling Skills Proven experience operating reach trucks (At least 1 year/preferred Toyota), and pallet jacks in a warehouse setting Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control processes Familiarity with warehouse distribution procedures, shipping & receiving protocols, and order picking techniques using a WMS scan gun/RFScanner. Excellent physical strength for heavy lifting tasks combined with good spatial awareness Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors

Pay:

$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
