Job Description

Position Summary As a Warehouse Driver and Material Handler, you will be responsible for managing material logistics, ensuring efficient delivery and retrieval of materials, and maintaining the warehouse. Your role is crucial in supporting our operations team by coordinating deliveries, updating inventory systems, and upholding safety standards. You will also perform minor maintenance on tools, equipment, and vehicles, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Your Essential Functions include Material Logistics Retrieve and deliver materials, tools, and equipment from the warehouse as requested.

Load and unload materials from trucks efficiently. Coordinate with vendors to get the materials, tools, and equipment needed for operations. Ensure safe and efficient delivery of materials using company vehicles. Inventory Management Track tools and equipment using the inventory system. Keep accurate records of all incoming and outgoing orders. Report any order issues to upper management promptly. Warehouse Maintenance Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and organized. Perform minor maintenance and repairs on tools, equipment, and vehicles. Ensure proper use of tools and equipment, including forklifts. Fleet Coordination Coordinate with drivers, safety, and Fleet Director to manage maintenance and repairs. Ensure all vehicles are in good working condition and comply with fleet policies. Safety Compliance Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies. Complete required safety training and maintain a focus on safety at all times. To excel as a Warehouse Driver , you'll need a mix of core skills and experience that show a strong commitment to our team and customers, focusing on efficiency, safety, and reliability in warehouse operations:
Experience & Certifications:
Proven experience in warehouse operations and material logistics.
Technical Knowledge :
Understanding of safety procedures and warehouse best practices, or the ability to learn and become competent.

Other Qualifications :
Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record, meeting company driving eligibility criteria to operate company vehicles. Physical Requirements To effectively perform the duties of a Warehouse Driver, you'll need to meet the following physical demands essential for this role:
Mobility:
Capability to move freely across all areas of our warehouse and projects, including standing, walking, traversing, climbing stairs up to access various floors, climbing ladders, and working in a variety of working environments and weather conditions.
Flexibility:
Comfort with stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling when on construction sites for deliveries and pickups, and other visits as needed.
Strength:
Ability to regularly lift or move objects weighing up to 50lbs.
Dexterity :
Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms.
Vision:
Close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Hearing:
Normal hearing to communicate effectively Working Conditions This job involves extended periods of driving, working in the heat, and prolonged standing, kneeling, stooping, and frequently lifting heavy objects.
