Full Job Description Key Responsibilities:

Operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently to move produce within the warehouse. o Load and unload trucks with produce pallets according to shipping and receiving schedules. Use RF gun to scan products, verify item codes, record inventory movements, and ensure accurate data entry. o Stage, wrap, and label outgoing pallets according to customer orders and warehouse standards. Inspect forklift and other equipment before and after use; report any damage or maintenance needs. o Follow proper cold chain handling procedures to maintain produce quality and freshness. o Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and product rotation (FIFO). o Keep aisles, loading docks, and storage areas clean, organized, and free of hazards. o Work closely with warehouse, quality control, and shipping teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment. o Follow all food safety, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and warehouse safety policies.

Qualifications:

Experience:

1+ year of forklift operation experience (produce or cold storage environment preferred). o

Equipment Knowledge:

Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and electric riders safely. o

Technology Skills:

Experience using RF guns/scanners for inventory management.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 501bs and stand for long periods. o Comfortable working in cold storage environments (34—550F). o

Certifications:

Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain one upon hire).

Language:

Basic English or Spanish communication skills preferred .
