Job Summary This position requires operating a forklift on both paved and unpaved surfaces. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced, covered and uncovered manufacturing facility. Job Responsibilities Position forks, lifting platform or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products or materials Transport materials to designated area Unload and stacks materials Inventory materials on yard Maintain yard and work area in a clean and safe manner Must be able to work with minimal supervision in ensuring customers are loaded as scheduled without undue delay Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed Job Requirements Minimum of 2 years' experience in operating a forklift to load and unload materials in a manufacturing/retail distribution environment Excellent customer service skills are required High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions Ability to follow company production and safety procedures Ability to pass internal certification training Willing to work flexible schedules/overtime as required Must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 100 lbs. from ground level Able to work in a dusty environment What CRH Offers You Highly competitive base pay Comprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programs Group retirement savings program Health and wellness programs An inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion About CRH CRH has a long and proud heritage.
