Forklift Operator - Manufacturing We are hiring a Forklift Operator to support daily production and shipping operations. This role is critical to keeping material moving. When this position is done right, production stays on schedule and shipments go out on time. When it's not, everything slows down. We are looking for someone who can operate safely, stay productive, and take ownership of their work. Core Responsibilities Operate forklifts to move materials throughout the facility and yard Load and unload trailers, flatbeds, and trucks safely and efficiently Deliver materials to machines to support continuous production Stage and organize material in designated areas Support shipping by preparing and loading outbound orders Perform daily equipment checks and report any issues immediately Follow work instructions and production schedules Maintain a clean and safe work area What We Expect Safe operation at all times—no exceptions Awareness of surroundings in a high-traffic, equipment-heavy environment Consistent productivity throughout the shift Reliability—this role directly impacts the entire operation Ability to handle large, heavy, and sometimes awkward materials Experience Prior forklift experience preferred Manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus Experience handling steel or heavy materials is beneficial Physical & Work Conditions Regular lifting of 50+ pounds Frequent climbing on and off equipment Standing, walking, and working for extended periods Exposure to heat, cold, noise, and outdoor conditions Required use of PPE (gloves, safety glasses, steel-toe boots, etc.) What We Offer Steady, full-time work Benefits including health coverage, 401(k), and paid time off A structured environment with clear expectations Opportunity to grow based on performance Summary This is a hands-on role in a working manufacturing environment.
