Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Cherry Picker Operator and become a vital part of our fast-paced distribution environment! In this role, you will operate specialized equipment to efficiently pick, load, and unload products, ensuring smooth warehouse operations. Your expertise in heavy equipment operation and materials handling will help us meet customer demands with precision and speed. Duties Safely operate cherry pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, Hi-Lo, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment to retrieve and store inventory accurately. Perform order picking tasks using warehouse management systems to fulfill customer orders efficiently. Load and unload shipments while adhering to safety protocols and OSHA standards. Conduct routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to ensure machinery remains in optimal condition. Assist with shipping and receiving processes, verifying inventory accuracy and documenting movements within warehouse management systems. Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing materials for easy access and maintaining a clean work environment. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize storage solutions and improve overall workflow. Qualifications Proven experience operating reach trucks, lift trucks, or similar heavy equipment in a warehouse setting. Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and order picker procedures. Mechanical knowledge for equipment repair and troubleshooting. Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and measurements. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling. Previous warehouse experience involving shipping & receiving, heavy lifting, and order picking is highly desirable. Valid certification for forklift or lift truck operation is preferred; training will be provided if necessary.
