Job Summary Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Reach Truck Operator and become a vital part of our materials handling and distribution operations! In this energetic role, you will expertly operate reach trucks, forklifts, and other heavy equipment to efficiently load, unload, and organize goods within our warehouse. Your precision and safety awareness will ensure smooth warehouse distribution processes, supporting order picking, shipping, and receiving activities. Duties Safely operate reach trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment to move materials throughout the warehouse Load and unload shipments with precision, ensuring proper handling of various materials and products Conduct routine equipment inspections and minor repairs to maintain optimal operation of lift trucks and related machinery Assist with order picking using warehouse management systems (WMS) to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently Support warehouse management by organizing inventory on pallets and racks, utilizing proper stacking techniques for safety and accessibility Participate in shipping & receiving processes, verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to OSHA safety standards Requirements Proven experience operating reach trucks, lift trucks, or heavy equipment in a warehouse or distribution setting Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and order picker operations Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic equipment repairs and troubleshooting Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to forklift operation and materials handling Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts, measurements, and weight assessments Excellent physical stamina for heavy lifting, loading/unloading, and extended periods of standing or walking Valid certification for forklift or lift truck operation preferred; willingness to obtain necessary certifications required by law or company policy Join us as a Reach Truck Operator where your skills drive our success!
