Forklift Operator Job Description The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating a heavy-capacity industrial forklift, ranging from 8,000 to 10,000 lbs, to move, load, and transport large pallets and metal materials such as steel, copper, and brass throughout the manufacturing facility. This role supports production and warehouse operations by ensuring materials are handled efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with all safety standards. Responsibilities Operate industrial forklifts to move, load, and transport materials. Handle steel, copper, and brass pallets efficiently. Support production and warehouse operations. Ensure compliance with all safety standards during material handling. Assist in inventory tracking and order processing. Essential Skills 5-10 years of forklift operating experience. Proficiency in equipment operation and forklift handling. Familiarity with RF scanner usage. Strong attention to detail. Basic math skills. Safety-oriented approach. Additional Skills & Qualifications Knowledge of tape measure and blueprint reading. Experience in material handling and inventory management. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
