This role involves operating various types of forklifts, to efficiently handle materials and shipments. The successful candidate will also serve as a key point of contact for customers, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and accuracy. Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a range of heavy equipment such as forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse. Perform order picking using WMS systems and ensure accuracy in fulfilling customer orders. Manage shipping and receiving tasks by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation. Maintain and update warehouse management system (WMS) entries for inventory control and order tracking. Assist with warehouse management tasks including stock organization, inventory counts, and space optimization. Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards by following proper procedures during equipment operation and materials handling. Support warehouse supervisor in daily operations, including materials handling, heavy lifting, and load securing. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries professionally and ensuring timely order fulfillment. Collaborate with team members to improve warehouse processes and efficiency. Experience Candidates should possess a minimum of four years of relevant warehouse experience, including extensive forklift operation. Prior experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), order picking, shipping & receiving, and materials handling is essential. Familiarity with heavy equipment such as cherry picking, forklifts, and mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair is highly desirable. Experience in warehouse distribution environments that require heavy lifting, load & unload procedures, and adherence to OSHA regulations will be considered advantageous. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong organizational skills, basic math proficiency for inventory calculations, and the ability to operate heavy machinery safely. Previous experience in managing warehouse operations will be viewed favorably.
