We are looking for a recent high school graduate with the drive and initiative to join an LTL operation from the ground up. Learn how to load and unload, run the dock, immerse yourself in the Mainfreight culture and from there; your career is where you take it. No experience is necessary just the basic skills, a lot of effort and a good attitude.Responsibilities:
- Load/Unload merchandise on/off trailers
- Ensure safety protocols are adhered to on the dock
- Weigh and Remeasure freight that comes across the dock
- Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
- Ensure work area is clean and tidy
- Other adhoc activities such as: inventory, depot searches etc.
