In this role, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy equipment, including reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and pallet jacks, to efficiently load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse. Your expertise in warehouse management systems and materials handling will ensure smooth distribution operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a well-organized warehouse environment while maintaining high safety standards in accordance with OSHA regulations. Duties Safely operate forklifts such as reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo lifts, and other heavy equipment to load and unload shipments Use warehouse management systems to track inventory movements accurately and efficiently Perform order picking tasks with equipment such as order pickers and pickers to fulfill customer orders promptly Conduct routine inspections and minor repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance Assist in shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipment contents and preparing items for distribution Handle materials with care using appropriate lifting techniques, pallet jacks, and heavy lifting equipment Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing storage areas and maintaining a clean, safe workspace Experience Proven experience operating forklifts, including reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo lifts, and pallet jacks in a warehouse setting Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control and order processing Experience in warehouse management or supervision is preferred but not required Familiarity with OSHA safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment repair and troubleshooting is advantageous Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and measurements Prior experience in shipping & receiving, order picking, or warehouse distribution is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safety protocols Join our team as a Forklift Operator if you're passionate about maintaining a safe work environment while ensuring efficient warehouse operations.
