Forklift Operator

Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking Forklift Operators to hire at a warehouse located in Palmetto! The ideal candidate should be dependable, have reliable transportation, and available to work full time.

Pay Rate :

$18.40-19.40/hour dpending on shift Requirements for

Forklift Operators:

After meeting all of PPS' standard qualifications, Candidate must meet below qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Must be an experienced operator of a Raymond stand up reach forklift as you will be tested on equipment prior to starting assignment. Basic math and computer skills. Able to use material movement equipment. SAP or Warehouse Management System experience. Must be willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities of Forklift Operators:

Pull orders according to the RF scanner and recheck them to ensure accuracy. Address any misprints, false quantities, and closed carton orders. Inspect items for quality and quantity and any evidence of dust, paint, or dents Ensure that any product not up to the quality standards are reported to the floor supervisor. Properly palletize picked items from storage area. Wrap or box items according to instructions provided and ensure effective wrapping for remaining product in the bin. Pull off any old or not needed stickers from boxes and make sure that they are discarded properly. Develop an attitude of support and participate in an environment of continuous improvement. Ensure the compliance of safety norms to include maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe work area. Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Shift Details:

1st and 2nd shifts available! 1st: Monday-Friday - 7:00AM-3:30PM 2nd: Monday-Friday - 4:00PM-12:30
