Box Clamp Operator

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Box Clamp Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating specialized equipment to handle and transport large, heavy boxes and materials within our distribution center. Your expertise will ensure efficient order fulfillment, accurate shipping and receiving, and smooth warehouse operations. Duties Operate box clamp trucks, reach trucks, forklifts, Hi-Lo, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse Handle materials with precision using clamp trucks designed for large boxes, ensuring secure gripping and movement without damage Assist with order picking using various warehouse management system (WMS) tools and equipment such as order pickers to fulfill customer orders accurately Conduct routine inspections and minor repairs on equipment to maintain safety standards and operational efficiency Support shipping and receiving processes by verifying inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring proper documentation, and maintaining accurate records Participate in warehouse distribution activities by organizing inventory, managing stock levels, and supporting warehouse supervisor directives Follow OSHA safety guidelines diligently during all operations to promote a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues Requirements Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as clamp trucks, reach trucks, forklifts, Hi-Lo's, pallet jacks, or similar machinery in a warehouse or distribution setting Mechanical knowledge to perform basic equipment repairs or troubleshoot issues promptly Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for order picking and inventory control Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols aligned with OSHA standards Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during load & unload activities Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and documentation accuracy Warehouse experience involving shipping & receiving procedures or materials handling preferred Valid certification for forklift operation; additional certifications for heavy equipment operation are advantageous Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to work quickly in a high-volume environment Join us as a Box Clamp Operator where your skills will directly impact our ability to deliver excellence!
