In this vital role, you will be responsible for operating reach trucks and other heavy equipment to efficiently handle materials, manage inventory, and support warehouse distribution operations. Your expertise will ensure the safe and accurate loading, unloading, and storage of goods, contributing directly to the smooth flow of our supply chain. This position offers an energetic environment where safety, precision, and teamwork are at the forefront of daily operations. Responsibilities Safely operate reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and pallet jacks to load and unload shipments with precision. Execute order picking tasks using various warehouse management systems (WMS) to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently. Manage materials handling processes including stacking, storing, and retrieving goods in high racks and confined spaces. Assist with shipping and receiving activities by inspecting inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy and condition. Perform routine equipment inspections, basic repairs, and maintenance on forklifts and heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance. Support warehouse management by maintaining organized storage areas, updating inventory records, and adhering to OSHA safety standards. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize space utilization and improve overall distribution workflows. Qualifications Proven experience operating reach trucks, forklift trucks (Lift truck), Hi-Lo forklifts, clamp trucks, or similar heavy equipment in a warehouse setting. Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and order picker technology. Mechanical knowledge for equipment repair and troubleshooting minor issues promptly. Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling. Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts, measurements, and weight assessments. Previous experience in warehouse distribution or logistics environments is highly desirable. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety protocols during load & unload operations.
