Hood Packaging is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Driver in our Tifton, Ga. facility who will be responsible for storing, and transporting rolls of paper to machines timely and loading finished pallets onto trailers for shipping to customers. Functional Responsibilities Follow all safety procedures - Lock, Tag, Try / personal protective equipment Read and understand production orders Prepare reports legibly and properly. Good oral communication skills with teammates Operate a calculator for basic mathematical computations. Basic typing skills are essential because all technicians operate a computerized scanning machine for raw material tracking. Must be able to climb up onto a forklift and be able to operate two-foot pedals. There could be occasional climbing up a ladder. Must be able to operate both hands/arms for driving and lift controls. Ability to maneuver the grab truck/fork/clamp truck and raw materials around crowded areas with co-workers nearby.
