$1,000 Job Overview Dyersville Die Cast is seeking a dependable and safety-minded Material Handler/Fork Lift Operator to support our shipping and production operations. This role is responsible for loading and unloading materials, operating forklifts, and moving product efficiently throughout the facility to keep production running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment Move raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods between departments, buildings, and machines Accurately complete shipping, receiving, and internal transfer paperwork Operate weight scales to verify product and material weights Follow all safety rules, quality standards, and work instructions Maintain clean and organized work areas (5S/housekeeping standards) Work closely with supervisors, leads, and team members to meet production and shipping schedules Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred (not required) Ability to read instructions and complete paperwork accurately Strong attention to detail and safety awareness Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to work well in a team environment Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per shift Ability to lift up to 10 lbs continuously and up to 50 lbs occasionally Ability to bend, reach, and move around equipment safely Work Environment Manufacturing/warehouse setting Exposure to moving equipment, forklifts, and production noise PPE required Benefits 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Holiday & paid time off Tuition reimbursement Why Join Us?
