Warehouse Forklift Operator - CH0764 Silgan Containers Manufacturing Corporation United States, Iowa, Fort Dodge 3591 Maple Drive (Show on map) Apr 23, 2026 The forklift operator will support production, and shipping/receiving operations by operating different types of forklifts.

Essential Job Functions:

• Load trucks with finished sheet metal
• Load cut sheet material onto platforms for dispatch through the manufacturing lines
• Prepare finished goods for transfer to other departments
• Remove coil loads and other materials from trucks as they are delivered
• Transport unfinished and finished product throughout the plant and supply the production lines with raw materials
• Empty scrap tubs of metal waste
• Assist in taking inventory and prepare orders for shipment as needed Job Requirements
• Ability to demonstrate forklift driving experience and pass the certification test if not already certified

Experience/Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a manufacturing facility
• 6 months-2 years of forklift driving work experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to kneel, stoop, crawl, squat, and stand for extended period, while running machinery up to 12 hours
