Boise Rescue Mission Ministries is currently looking for a full-time, reliable Warehouse Driver. Applicant must hold to the doctrine and constitution/by-laws of the Mission. Applicant must be a regular attendee of a local church and be willing to sign and adhere to the Mission's Statement of Faith.
Job Summary:
The Warehouse Driver will make daily pick-ups and deliveries in a company box truck. They will help process donations and organize the warehouse in order to help provide resources for our shelters to run effectively.

Required Skills and Abilities:
Clean driving record. Valid Idaho Driver's License Ability to read and follow instructions Excellent communication skills Ability to work in a fast paced, constantly changing environment Basic computer skills
Capable of operating Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
) Detail-oriented and good organizational skills Capable of working as a part of a team Self-motivated Ability to learn quickly
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent Forklift Certification a plus Food Handlers' Certification needed
can obtain on the job Ability to lift 50 points or more May be required to work in excessive heat and cold due to outside weather
Duties and Responsibilities :
Warehouse Responsibilities Make daily pick-ups and deliveries in a company box truck Keep vehicle mileage/fuel logs and report maintenance needs Organize and assemble furniture donations Assist with daily warehouse operations Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines and regulations to ensure quality Welcome volunteers and give directions as needed Direct daily tasks for programmers and interns Complete other tasks, assignments, and responsibilities as necessary Mission Responsibilities Model Christian ethics, communicating high integrity and living according to the statement of faith as expressed in the Boise Rescue Mission Handbook Attend meetings as necessary Attain CPR Certification training that is required Mission wide Attain certifications and training as opportunities become available Employees may also participate in various fundraising events throughout the year We are a Christian non-profit organization dedicated to serving the homeless population in the Treasure Valley area, and while doing so, try to bring them closer to God.
