Job Title:

Forklift Operator Job Description We are seeking an experienced warehouse professional to join our team as a Forklift Operator. This role involves working in a dynamic retail environment, where you will spend approximately 60-70% of your time in the warehouse and the remaining 30% in customer service roles as needed. Your primary responsibilities will include order pulling, stocking materials, and operating a forklift. Responsibilities Operate forklift efficiently and safely. Perform order pulling and stocking of materials. Cross-train to provide customer service as required. Maintain inventory and handle materials appropriately. Adhere to retail hours, including weekends. Essential Skills Proficiency in forklift operation. Experience in inventory management and material handling. Strong customer service skills. Ability to work in a warehouse environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in building materials is a plus. Previous experience in a customer-facing warehouse role. Why Work Here? Work Environment The current warehouse is temporary, with a move to a brand new facility completed in early 2022. The role requires working retail hours, including Saturdays, to accommodate the needs of the business. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Meridian, ID. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
