Participate in company-sponsored activities such as suggestion programs, quality training sessions, and other continuous improvement initiatives. Perform packing, shipping, and receiving tasks as needed, including preparing orders for shipment and handling materials efficiently and safely. Operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials, adhering to safety standards and equipment operating procedures. Accept additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support overall warehouse and production operations. Essential Skills At least 1 year of experience operating a sit-down or stand-up forklift in a warehouse or similar environment. Ability to use an RF scanner for order picking and inventory transactions. Experience with general material handling, including loading, unloading, and staging products. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, company policies, and safety procedures consistently. Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in inventory and order fulfillment. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude. Willingness to accept responsibility for work performed and to support continuous improvement efforts. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior experience in inventory control activities such as cycle counting and bin or space consolidation. Comfort working in a highly organized, automated, and technology-driven warehouse setting. Ability to become cross-trained across multiple warehouse or production functions. Interest in developing new skills such as soldering, quality control, or chain operation through on-site training and certification. Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify and communicate process errors or inefficiencies. Reliability in attendance and consistent effort, which are key factors for advancement opportunities. Why Work Here? You will join a highly respected, industry-leading manufacturer recognized for efficiency, reliability, and a strong commitment to quality. The organization offers a clear path from contract to permanent employment, with the opportunity to convert to a permanent role in approximately 3-6 months. Once permanent, you become eligible for two annual production bonuses, awarded in April and October, rewarding strong performance and contribution. Advancement is based on attendance, effort, and results rather than tenure, creating a merit-based environment where motivated individuals can grow quickly. The company provides robust training and on-site certification programs for roles such as soldering, quality control, and chain operation, supporting ongoing skill development and career progression. Benefits begin on your first day as a permanent employee and include health, dental, vision, and pet benefits, along with a competitive 401(k) plan featuring a 6% match, underscoring a strong commitment to long-term financial and personal well-being. Work Environment The role is based in a large, well-lit, temperature-controlled warehouse that is part of a broader manufacturing and production campus. The facility is extremely clean, highly organized, and incorporates a significant level of automation, with many of the company's own products in use throughout the operation. The campus includes multiple facilities, with one building dedicated to manufacturing and another to production, and approximately 150 employees working within the production building, about 100 of whom are in production roles. Warehouse operations rely on modern equipment and technologies such as RF scanners, sit-down and stand-up forklifts, and automated systems to support efficient material handling and inventory management. The environment emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and orderliness, with clear processes and equipment maintenance schedules. Team members work collaboratively in a structured, professional setting where adherence to safety guidelines, respect for colleagues, and maintaining an organized work area are core expectations.
