Duties Safely operate various types of forklifts including reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse. Perform order picking using specialized equipment such as pickers and ensure accurate order fulfillment in line with warehouse management system (WMS) protocols. Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming shipments, inspecting for damages, and organizing outbound deliveries. Support warehouse distribution activities by managing inventory levels, organizing storage areas, and maintaining accurate records through warehouse management systems. Follow OSHA safety standards diligently during all operations to promote a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize materials handling processes and improve overall workflow efficiency. Requirements Proven experience operating forklifts such as reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo, or similar heavy equipment in a warehouse setting. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), shipping & receiving procedures, and order picking techniques. Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling. Ability to lift heavy loads consistently and perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking. Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and documentation accuracy. Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire. Prior experience in warehouse distribution or logistics environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates.
