Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently to load, unload, transport, and stage freight throughout the warehouse.
Perform cross-dock operations by transferring inbound freight to designated outbound locations while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
Break down, sort, organize, and stage freight shipments according to customer, destination, and warehouse requirements.
Assist with receiving activities, including unloading shipments, verifying freight, inspecting for damage, and documenting discrepancies.
Handle large, heavy, and oversized "big box" freight in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Perform a combination of forklift operation, material handling, freight sorting, and receiving duties as needed; the position will not involve forklift operation exclusively throughout the shift.
Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report any mechanical or safety concerns.
Follow all company safety policies, warehouse procedures, and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
Cross-train in receiving and other warehouse functions to support operational needs.
Lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 60 pounds regularly.
Stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the shift.
Must have a minimum of 1 year of sit-down forklift experience and the ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced warehouse setting. Why You'll Dig It:
