at Verstela in Glendale Heights, Illinois, United States Job Description Ready to take your expertise as a proficient forklift operator to some place new? Consider this full time forklift operator opportunity with a creative, energetic packaging and manufacturing candy company. A supportive company that empowers employees with company lunches and scheduled outings is currently looking to hire people with your skills and experience to their third shift team for the busy season! Forklift Operator Duties
- Load and unload goods from vehicles
- Ensure all shipments of goods are properly secured
- Move materials on pallets around the storage facility and production areas as needed, including lifting, moving and positioning heavy loads of materials
- Follow all inventory control instructions including allergen segregation
- Scan all material movement
- Perform inventory counts as needed
- Examine product to verify conformance to quality standards
- Identify safety hazards and report any damage to product, equipment or facility
- Perform daily equipment checks
- Maintain a clean and debris free working environment
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management. Pay and Schedule
- $20 Base Pay Rate
- $1 Shift Differential
- Monday to Friday, 10pm-6am
- Must be able to work weekend Requirements
- Sit Down Forklift experience (Toyota Sit-down)
- Stand Up Forklift experience (Raymond Reach)
