This role is essential in ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and management of materials within our distribution center. The successful candidate will operate various types of heavy equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, to facilitate the seamless flow of goods. M-F:

8:30AM-5:30PM (1 hour unpaid lunch) @ $18.50/hr Must be able to work 2half day Saturdays a month OT as needed Duties Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse. Assist with order picking using various equipment such as Cheery pickers and pallet jacks to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently. Manage shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation. Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform basic repairs or coordinate maintenance needs to ensure optimal operation. Support warehouse management system (WMS) data entry for inventory tracking, order processing, and stock adjustments. Load and unload materials from trucks while adhering to OSHA safety standards for heavy equipment operation. Assist warehouse supervisors with inventory organization, cycle counts, and materials handling procedures. Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to OSHA standards and proper lifting techniques during heavy lifting tasks. Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse distribution workflows and improve overall efficiency. Maintain accurate records of material movements and report any discrepancies or issues promptly. Requirements Proven experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment within a warehouse setting. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and experience with order picker equipment. Prior experience in warehouse distribution or materials handling roles preferred. Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment repair and troubleshooting. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards related to forklift operation and warehouse safety procedures. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting tasks and prolonged equipment operation. Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and order accuracy. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in shipping & receiving activities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety protocols.
