Forklift Driver/Material Handler Direct Hire Opportunity! We are an injection molding manufacturer located in Lake Forest, IL, seeking full-time Forklift Drivers/Material Handlers to join our team. We are currently hiring for first, second, and Third We offer competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package, including insurance, paid vacation, paid breaks, and paid holidays.

Note:

Full-time position, Monday to Friday, with overtime on weekends. Most weekends requires mandatory with weekend days flexibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate the Forklift in a safe manner according to protocol. Transport raw materials to production workstations. Make sure that resin is continuously and properly supplied to the machines. Wrap palleted products and place them in the appropriate location. Transport items to their designated locations based on a production schedule. Document orders, materials, and any stock movements. Unload incoming vehicles putting stock in assigned locations if necessary. Load outgoing vehicles and ensure materials are secure when needed. Maintain equipment by performing all necessary tasks to ensure proper functionality of the vehicle. Comply with company policies and legal guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications 2-3 years of sit-down forklift experience Loading and unloading trailers experience Good verbal, written, and basic math skills Manufacturing/ Warehouse experience is preferred Able to work independently Good height and depth perception. Ability to lift heavy objects about 50 lbs. Ability to work in uncomfortable temperatures. High school diploma or equivalent. Good alertness to ensure the safety of the workspace.
