An injection molding manufacturer located in Lake Forest, IL is seeking full-time Shipping and Receiving Forklift Driver/Material Handler for the morning shift and afternoon shift (8 am-4pm/ 9 am to 5pm or 3pm to 11pm) . The company offers insurance, paid vacation, paid breaks, and paid holidays.
Job Requirements:
  • 2-3 years forklift experience
  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • Good verbal, written, and basic math skills
  • Manufacturing experience preferred but not necessary
  • Able to work independently
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. Tasks
  • Live loading and offloading trailers/live loading trailers by hand if required
  • Organizing finish goods and staging orders
  • Notify shipping manager of any issues with shipments/finish goods
  • Pick orders
  • Keep finished goods organized
  • Ability to maneuver the forklift without a pallet, handle light and heavy lifting
  • Basic documenting skills
  • Knowledge of safety measures to be taken during the forklift operation, and warehouse inventory Skills
  • Read charts
  • Fill out forms
  • Able to read item numbers/pick tickets/orders
  • Follow written and verbal instructions
  • Able to use basic hand tools
